This simple but comfortable ground floor apartment (shown left of left photograph) is an excellent choice for those who love nature and the great outdoors. To top it all from the long wooded drive it’s only a stroll to excellent dining shopping and Grasmere’s cultural experiences which have made this heart of the Lake District village so famous and popular. The ‘big house’ now a country hotel is open to guests and offers a drying room for wet gear a bar for drinks use of the huge sitting rooms and breakfast (by arrangement).
