The Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve at Hickling is also close by and both the NWT and RSPB have reserves easily reached by car. Boat hire and fishing are available nearby and the bustling village of Wroxham (known as the capital of the Broads) offers riverboat trips on the Norfolk Broads. Children especially will love the treetop adventure park Bewilderwood and both Pleasurewood Hills theme park and Great Yarmouth offer a wealth of family fun whilst the lovely medieval city of Norwich boasts a castle cathedral and fine shopping among its many delights. A few hundred yards’ stroll reaches Sea Palling’s village stores P.O. farm shop cafes and pubs and the market town of Stalham is 3 miles.
